Our heavenly Father has claimed and cleansed us in the waters of Baptism. As God’s children, we are saints now and forever—not because of anything we have done or will do but because of Jesus. Jesus begins His Sermon on the Mount by listing how and when we are blessed. Jesus richly blesses us saints in this life and in the one yet to come. Today, we observed those saints who have gone before us in the latter part of last year and this year.
